You will teach learners aged 16 to 18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and complex behavioural, emotional and medical needs, all supported through EHCPs.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Develop and implement creative curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Act as a personal tutor, supporting learners to achieve EHCP outcomes
- Promote independence, resilience and engagement in learning
- Manage and support complex behaviours effectively
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Contribute to areas such as life skills, functional learning and PSHE
- Full-time, permanent role with immediate start
- Hours: 8.30am to 4pm
- Term-time position within a specialist setting
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Passion for supporting learners with SEN and autism
- Strong organisational and lesson planning skills
