Are you a passionate educator ready to make a genuine difference? We are seeking a committed full-time Classroom Teacher for a highly supportive and well-resourced specialist setting in Yeovil.

You will support children and young people aged 4 to 18 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex medical and communication needs

  • Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Lead and support teaching assistants within the classroom
  • Monitor progress and contribute to personalised learning plans
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
  • A compassionate, patient and proactive approach
  • Experience in specialist settings is desirable but not essential
  • Exceptionally supportive leadership and staff team
