 SEN Teaching Position for Primary School

Location: M14

An excellent multi-cultural primary school in Manchester are looking to recruit for a SEN Teacher. This primary school has a large team of SEN specialist support staff, working closely with the pupil’s home and has introduced a process whereby both the school and the home will work collaboratively to plan the most appropriate provision to meet the needs of the pupil. With a ‘ GOOD’ Ofsted rating in all areas, the school is linguistically diverse and provide the best opportunity for pupils to reach their full potential both in the classroom and beyond.

About the role

-          600 Pupils , 5-11

-          Supporting children with SEN

-          To provide ideas, resources and learning strategies for lessons

-          To undertake the additional needs register, working with the home to plan most appropriate provision for the pupils needs

-          Fixed term, long term contract

About you

-          Experience working with SEN children/ children with challenging behaviour

-          Hold QTS  

-          Takes a proactive approach to the role

-          Is passionate about making a difference and making learning fun

-          Resilient and able to use initiative in a challenging but highly rewarding role

-          Ability to deliver tailored support / programmes for the children
