SEN Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a large, outstanding SEN school in Brent? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a full-time basis, starting immediately. This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Outstanding SEN School:

Located in the North West of London, our friendly and supportive SEN School provides a safe and comfortable space for children diagnosed with Autism. With an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, we take pride in our high morale and commitment to creating a positive learning environment. Our school is easily accessible, with parking available on-site and off-street, as well as being within walking distance from local stations.

Responsibilities:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a class of 9 KS3 students with a mixture of verbal and non-verbal communication. While experience in an SEN school or with ASD children would be desirable, we are open to considering applicants transitioning from a mainstream setting. Patience, a caring nature, and a strong self-belief are essential as progress with these pupils can be slower compared to their peers. Your commitment, flexibility, and resilience will be key in supporting these students' individual needs and fostering their development.
