Responsibilities:

• As an SEN teacher, provide high-quality teaching and support in an SEN primary unit, specifically within an ASC unit.
• As an SEN Teacher, work collaboratively with a team of Teaching Assistants (TAs) to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• As an SEN Teacher, deliver tailored lessons to small classes of up to 10 students, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and academic progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching as an SEN teacher, in SEN settings, preferably in ASC units.
• Strong understanding of SEN pedagogy and strategies for supporting students with autism.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with Ta's and other staff members.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work on a daily supply basis with the potential for long-term commitments.
