Position: SEN Teacher within a Primary School

Location: Gorton, Manchester

Start date: Monday 29th April

End date: Ongoing - Temporary to Permanent Role

Pay rate: £120-£160 per day

A primary school in Gorton, Manchester are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work in their SEN provision to provide exceptional educational experiences to pupils aged from 6 years old – 10 years old.

About the school  

This large primary school caters for ages from 3 – 11 years old. The school is an inclusive setting which aim to meet all children’s needs and support their development in the most appropriate way to ensure they reach their full potential. The school also provides support for children who may have special educational needs and disabilities. The school believe that all pupils, regardless of their needs should be able to access a broad and balanced curriculum, and reach their full learning potential at our school.

 

Requirements

-        Prior experience working with children with SEN

-        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-        Full-time, long-term availability

-        Demonstrates a personal commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and rights of young people

-        Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to implement them effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
