Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a vibrant educational community in the NG5 area. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and will thrive in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students with SEN.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably within a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
