Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference? We’re working with a specialist educational provision that supports children and young people with additional needs, offering highly personalised, relationship‑led learning in a nurturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and creative teacher who can deliver Maths and Science to learners aged 7–19, helping them engage with education and achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll work with small groups or 1:1 learners across KS3 and KS4, delivering a flexible, engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs. Using multi‑sensory and innovative approaches, you’ll help pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally - building confidence every step of the way.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior teaching staff to design innovative learning experiences that place wellbeing, inclusion and progress at the heart of everything you do.

  • Plan, deliver and review personalised learning programmes
  • Create engaging, creative lessons using a range of teaching approaches
  • Support learners to have a voice in their education
  • Maintain accurate records, assessments and progress reports
  • Contribute to curriculum development in Maths and Science
  • Work to EHCP targets and support transition planning
  • Commit to ongoing professional development 
  • A teacher who is passionate about SEN and learner‑centred education
  • Confident teaching Maths and/or Science (or keen to upskill)
  • A flexible, reflective practitioner who enjoys creative teaching
  • Strong communicator who builds positive relationships
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or Science (or willingness to develop)
  • SEN teaching experience (preferred)
  • Relevant Level 6 qualification
