Supply Bank Education is working closely with a specialist school in Sutton Coldfield, seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a growing educational setting supporting pupils with SEMH, autism, and associated needs.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised teaching across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve meaningful progress. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider school team, you will contribute to curriculum development and help create a positive learning environment focused on wellbeing, independence, and achievement.
This role is ideal for educators who are creative, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.

What You'll Be Doing
• Delivering high-quality teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects
• Adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and EHCP requirements
• Supporting pupils' personal development, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress
• Working collaboratively with the Headteacher and wider team to support curriculum development
• Teaching beyond your subject specialism where required
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including additional responsibilities and school improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
• UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or autism
• A passion for inclusive education and pupil development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Requirements
• Right to work in the UK (e.g. British Passport or BRP with valid share code)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
• Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad
