Year 2 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in a child's educational journey? A primary school in the heart of Wavertree (L15) is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for Year 5.

Role Overview: As a key member of our team, you'll be providing tailored support to a child diagnosed with autism. Your focus will be on fostering their smooth integration into the classroom environment during the upcoming summer term. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, starting in April 2024, with working hours from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm. Collaboration with our SENCO and effective communication with the child's parents are pivotal aspects of this role. We offer competitive hourly pay at £11.85.

Ideal Candidate: We're seeking individuals with prior experience in supporting SEN students, particularly in managing challenging behaviours. A proactive attitude towards professional development and an openness to acquiring new skills are highly valued. Your ability to provide personalized support, coupled with an empathetic and understanding approach, is paramount.
