Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Hazlemere seeking a committed SEN Support Assistant to work full-time, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

About the Role

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
  • Support children with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, and a range of additional needs
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Support pupils with personal, social, and emotional development
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced working with children with SEN (school, care, or support settings)
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Confident supporting pupils with varying and complex needs
  • Calm and consistent in managing behaviour
  • A strong team player with a genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Reliable, committed, and keen to develop within SEN support

Formal qualifications are not essential – training and guidance will be provided.
