Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN Provision)

Location: Bedford, United Kingdom

Salary: £85-£95 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have previous experience working in an SEN environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in our SEN provision based in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEN in various classroom settings.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Work closely with students to facilitate their learning and promote independence.
  • Provide assistance with personal care and hygiene routines if required.
  • Collaborate with other members of the SEN team and liaise with parents and external professionals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEN.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Additional qualifications in SEN support or relevant training are desirable.
