Primary School SEN Teacher within a Primary School – Moston, Manchester

A large, 600 pupil, Primary School in Moston, Manchester are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to work in their school, working with a mixed age group and mixed ability SEN class. The role is long term, and term-time only, with a September start date.

A little bit about the class:

The class is a class of 10 pupils, from ages 6 years old – 11 years old, with mixed abilities. There are 3 talented, Teaching Assistants, also present in the class to offer support to pupils and the class teacher. There are different levels of SEN needs within this class such as: Autism, Down-Syndrome, ADD and ADHD. The right candidate for this role will have: high levels of patience, be reliable and have an ability to lead exciting and engaging classes to pupils. ECT’s and Fully Qualified Teachers considered.

Role Requirements

  • Be available to start in September 2024.
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
  • Be reliable and consistent.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
