We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Salary: MPS/UPS with additional SEN allowance

Key Responsibilities:
*
Design and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to the diverse needs of SEN students.
*
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and tools, including technology, to enhance learning outcomes.
*
Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
*
Collaborate with other teaching staff, therapists, and SEN professionals to create a holistic educational experience.
*
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.
*
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.

Requirements for the Role:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong academic background in Mathematics.
*
Demonstrated experience in teaching maths to SEN students, including those with ASD, ADHD, dyscalculia, and other learning difficulties.
*
Proficiency in differentiating curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build trust with them and their families.
*
A passion for special education and a commitment to the school’s mission and values.
*
An innovative thinker with the ability to implement creative teaching strategies.
*
Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
*
A proactive approach to professional development and staying abreast of the latest educational research and methodologies in SEN education.
