Teaching Personnel are working closely with an esteemed independent all-through school located in Southsea. They follow a philosophy of educating the 'whole child,’ and their dedicated staff work together to ensure every student realises their potential. Their specialised SEN provision caters to 15 students with learning difficulties, providing a nurturing and personalised learning environment. 

As an SEN Maths Teacher, you will teach Mathematics to Key Stage 3 students in a resourced provision. Your role will involve supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering their confidence and helping them overcome obstacles. The successful candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.


  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Mathematics, preferably in an SEN setting
  • Passion for supporting students with learning difficulties
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills


  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide targeted support
  • Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals
  • Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and SEN provision
  • Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities
