School: Specialized ASD School for Children Aged 11 to 19 Years Old

Start Date: September

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:45pm

Location: Croydon Borough

Pay: £85 to £100 per day

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join the team of a specialised ASD school located in the Croydon Borough. This school caters to children aged 11 to 19 years old, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).


  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with ASD
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support students in their academic and social development
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
  • Assist with daily classroom activities and educational tasks
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school


  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly ASD, is highly desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to the welfare and development of students
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (preferred but not essential)


  • Competitive daily pay rate of £85 to £100
