Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored support to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Knowledge of SEN provisions and best practises

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Additional training in SEN education
  • Experience working in a similar role within a school setting

This role involves working closely with children and young people with SEN. The work environment may include classrooms, pupils home, and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' schedules and additional duties as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
