SEN Inclusion Assistant - Secondary School | Stockport | Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a meaningful impact in education? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Inclusion Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Stockport area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established school that prioritises inclusion, student wellbeing, and personalised support. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a vital role in helping students access learning and feel supported both academically and emotionally.
The school offers a collaborative and supportive environment, where you will work alongside experienced teachers, SEN specialists, pastoral teams, and a committed leadership team. Ongoing training and development opportunities are available, making this role suitable for both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills looking to move into education.
Facilities are designed to support SEN learners and include dedicated intervention spaces, calm breakout areas, and well-equipped classrooms that promote a structured and engaging learning environment. The school is easily accessible via public transport and offers on-site parking.
The Role
As an SEN Inclusion Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage in lessons and manage their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies and contribute to pupils' academic and social progress.
