Salary: £31,350 - £46,179 per year (M1 - UPS2 Fringe) Plus £5,000 Welcome bonus For Qualified Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
*
Curriculum Delivery: Teach English language and literature from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of learners with SEN.
*
Educational Development: Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff, aimed at achieving each student's personal learning objectives.
*
Assessment and Reporting: Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and preparing detailed reports for parents and school administrators.
*
Collaborative Teaching: Work closely with other teaching staff, therapists, and specialists to integrate educational strategies and support holistic student development.
*
Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest educational strategies and regulations in SEN teaching.

Requirements:
*
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related subject.
*
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching English, preferably with experience in an SEN setting.
*
Skills: Strong understanding of the UK SEN framework and experience developing and implementing IEPs.
*
Attributes: Highly motivated, empathetic, patient, and resilient, with a genuine passion for teaching students with special educational needs.
*
Clearances: Enhanced DBS check required.
