Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm | Full-Time
Ongoing Long-Term Opportunity

We’re currently looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to teach English and World Studies at a supportive secondary SEN school in Addlestone.

  • Teach English and World Studies to secondary-aged pupils with SEN

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

  • Deliver engaging and accessible lessons adapted to pupils’ individual needs

  • Follow established schemes of work and lesson resources

  • Receive ongoing support from the Heads of Department, who will provide schemes of work, resources and guidance

  • Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement and progress

  • Work as part of a supportive wider SEN team

  • Previous SEN teaching experience is essential

  • Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification preferred

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach

  • Someone confident supporting pupils with additional needs

This is an ongoing booking with the opportunity to continue long-term, provided both the school and teacher are happy with the placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
