Ongoing Long-Term Opportunity
We’re currently looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to teach English and World Studies at a supportive secondary SEN school in Addlestone.
Teach English and World Studies to secondary-aged pupils with SEN
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Deliver engaging and accessible lessons adapted to pupils’ individual needs
Follow established schemes of work and lesson resources
Receive ongoing support from the Heads of Department, who will provide schemes of work, resources and guidance
Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement and progress
Work as part of a supportive wider SEN team
Previous SEN teaching experience is essential
Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils
QTS or relevant teaching qualification preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
Someone confident supporting pupils with additional needs
This is an ongoing booking with the opportunity to continue long-term, provided both the school and teacher are happy with the placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
