Not every child finds school easy. Some need a little extra patience, consistency and encouragement to help them feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
We're working with a welcoming primary school in the NG5 area that is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding role for someone who can build genuine relationships with pupils, remain calm during challenging moments, and help children develop positive strategies both inside and outside the classroom.
You'll be supporting pupils who may present with social, emotional or behavioural needs, helping them to regulate emotions, engage in learning and celebrate successes – no matter how small they may seem.
This is a school that genuinely understands the importance of pastoral support. Staff work closely together, celebrate progress and take pride in creating an environment where children feel valued and understood. You'll be joining a team that believes behaviour is communication and approaches support with patience, consistency and care.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real difference to a child's school experience every single day, we'd love to hear from you.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
