A specialist community school in Skelmersdale is seeking a resilient and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs in a nurturing and structured educational environment.
The school provides specialist support for pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support to access education successfully. Staff work closely together to create a safe, consistent and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, regulate emotions and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom. You will help students engage with learning, manage behaviour positively and develop important social and emotional skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
