We are currently recruiting for an SEMH Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting in Woking, working with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who thrives on building positive relationships, creating engaging learning environments, and supporting students to reach their full potential.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and associated behaviours
Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
Working closely with support staff, families and external professionals
Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience and positive outcomes
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience working with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour
Be calm, adaptable and resilient
Have strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Be passionate about inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
