Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEMH secondary provision in Failsworth. This is an excellent full-time, long-term opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on young people’s lives within a supportive and dedicated school environment.
About the School
This provision supports pupils aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom have experienced challenges within mainstream education. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment where pupils are given the opportunity for a fresh start and are supported to re-engage with learning.
The setting takes a holistic approach, focusing on both academic progress and emotional development, ensuring pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence.
The Role
As a Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and adaptable lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.
Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff, you will help create a calm, consistent, and supportive classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued.
