My school near Kitts Green are looking for an SEMH Teacher to work with children with special educational needs across all Key Stages. If you are passionate about providing children with the opportunities to excel in their education and development, then please read on!




💼 The Role: As an SEMH Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH needs, addressing both academic and socio-emotional development.
  • Utilise strategies and interventions to support students in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and social competence.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues including psychologists, counsellors, and support staff, to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported in their personal and academic growth.
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to inform intervention strategies and support student success.

👩‍🏫What We Require:
  • A QTS status (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Previous UK based expereince working as a SEMH Teacher 
  • Previous primary school experience
