The Role

You will be working in an independent SEMH and trauma-informed setting with a bespoke curriculum, with purpose-built cabins to support sensory learning when required.

You will work within multi-disciplinary teams, with very small class sizes with pupils aged 6 to 16 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons
  • Adapt learning to meet EHCP targets
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH
  • Promote positive behaviour and independence
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists
  • Follow safeguarding procedures
  • Maintain a calm, consistent and nurturing environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous SEN teaching experience, or strong knowledge of specialist education
  • Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and additional learning needs
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain both)

  • Flexible SEN teaching opportunities
  • Competitive daily rate (£145 - £210), paid weekly - term time only
  • Free CPD tailored to complex needs
  • A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your employment
