We are seeking committed individuals to work within specialist settings in the Chichester area, supporting students with SEMH needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

You will play a vital role in creating a structured, supportive environment where students feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting students with SEMH needs in the classroom
• Delivering or assisting with tailored learning activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Building strong and trusting relationships with students
• Supporting both academic and personal development
• Creating a calm and structured learning environment
• Working collaboratively with staff and external professionals

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour (desirable)
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students
• Passion for supporting vulnerable young people
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
