We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team and support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning through tailored, trauma-informed support.
Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff and external professionals, you will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to manage emotions, develop positive behaviours and access learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
Location: Burnley
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour
Hours: Full-time 8.30am – 3.30pm
Contract: Temporary and long-term
