  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams to support student well-being
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Knowledge of SEMH strategies and interventions
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
  • Experience in implementing behaviour management techniques
  • Understanding of SEMH needs and how they impact learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Training in de-escalation techniques
  • Work in a school setting with students with SEMH needs
  • Full-time contract with standard school hours
  • Potential for some additional hours for planning and parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
