SEMH & Behaviour Support Staff – Specialist Schools

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants and SEMH Support Staff to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire.

These roles involve supporting students with:

  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
  • Additional learning needs

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Behaviour Mentoring
  • Youth Work
  • Residential Care
  • Support Work
  • Sports Coaching
  • SEN Support
  • Mental Health Support

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
  • Building positive relationships
  • Encouraging engagement in learning
  • Managing behaviour positively and consistently
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
