Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary provision in the Wigan area that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This specialist setting caters for students who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education and require additional support to re-engage with learning. With small class sizes, a highly supportive staff team, and a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, the school provides a structured and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Staff are committed to creating meaningful relationships with pupils, helping them achieve both academically and personally.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students manage their emotions, develop positive coping strategies, and fully access their education. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and other professionals to provide consistent support and guidance throughout the school day.
