Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

As a Secondary Tutor based in South East England, Berkshire, Reading, you will be responsible for providing educational support to secondary school students. Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored tutoring sessions to students with special educational needs (SEN).

  • Plan and deliver individualised tutoring sessions to secondary school students with SEN
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop suitable teaching strategies
  • Monitor and track students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure students' academic success
  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A degree in Education or a related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN educational strategies and interventions
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent organisational skills

This position is temporary and requires working part-time hours. The role may involve travel to different schools within the region to deliver tutoring sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
