Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored academic support to secondary school students
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in using various teaching strategies and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in delivering online tutoring sessions

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work closely with students in a classroom or one-on-one setting
  • Occasional meetings with parents, teachers, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
