Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Skills: SEN experience

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to secondary school students
  • Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs
  • Assist students in improving their academic performance
  • Monitor and assess students' progress
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals as needed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Additional certifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in tutoring or teaching secondary school students
  • Demonstrated success in improving students' academic performance
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Understanding of SEN practises
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in a school setting
  • Potential travel to students' homes for tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
