Salary: £20 - £25 per hour

We are currently seeking a Secondary Tutor to join our educational team in Richmond, Greater London. As a Secondary Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to secondary school students in various subjects.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students
  • Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation
  • Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' academic success
  • A relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Previous experience working with secondary school students
  • SEN experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the UK secondary school curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching in a one-on-one setting

This role involves working on a part-time basis, with flexible hours based on student needs. The work environment will be within a secondary school setting, requiring adherence to school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
