We are currently experiencing an increase in referrals for pupils who require one to one, face to face tuition in Hartlepool.  These referrals come from the local authority who trust TP Tutors to find reliable, well-matched tutors for their vulnerable pupils who are often missing in education, waiting for school placements, or unable to attend school at present.


We are looking for fully qualified teachers, HLTAs or experienced tutors with experience teaching in the UK.

This role involves:

  • Building relationships with vulnerable pupils with the aim to re-engage them in education.
  • Planning and delivering bespoke sessions.
  • Recording session objectives and outcomes.
  • Working with pupils age 11-16 years old.

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people.
  • Would like to be in charge of their own work schedule.
  • Would like flexible part-time hours.
  • Wants to make a difference.
  • Has their own form of transport.
  • Is looking to earn £25 to £35 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
