Are you a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Cardiff? We are currently seeking reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants who are happy to travel across the city and support a range of schools on both short-term and long-term assignments.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning and behaviour
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom experience
  • Flexible working to suit your schedule
  • Opportunities across a wide network of Cardiff secondary schools
  • Variety of roles including day-to-day supply and long-term placements
  • Dedicated consultant support throughout your placements
  • Excellent experience for those considering a future in teaching
  • Previous experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, etc.)
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
  • Willingness to travel across Cardiff for different placements
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and making a difference
