We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher with Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Croydon area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to helping students achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding standards.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
  • Proven experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
