Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Hastings and the surrounding areas who are seeking qualified teachers across a range of subject specialisms.

We are recruiting for both day-to-day supply and longer-term positions, offering flexibility for teachers looking to broaden their experience or secure ongoing work within local schools. Opportunities are available across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some roles including Key Stage 5 teaching.

• Deliver high-quality lessons within your subject area
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Adapt to different school settings and departmental structures
• Support students' academic progress and wellbeing
• Follow school safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching your specialist subject within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• A professional, flexible and reliable approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
