Supply Bank Education is working closely with a secondary school in Erdington, seeking a passionate and committed Qualified Secondary Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic educational setting.

The Role
As a Qualified Secondary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across the secondary curriculum while creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment. What You'll Be Doing
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Planning, preparing, and assessing student work in line with school expectations
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
• Supporting students' academic progress and personal development
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Working collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals where required
• Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

What We're Looking For
• UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for education and supporting young people
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across varying ability levels
• A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Requirements
• Right to work in the UK (e.g. British Passport or BRP with valid share code)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
• Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad
