We are looking for an inspiring and adaptable Secondary SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN & Alternative Provision setting in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students across Key Stage 3 & 4 who require additional support with learning, behaviour, and emotional development.

You will play a vital role in helping young people rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve positive outcomes in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • Deliver creative and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encourage emotional wellbeing, independence, and personal growth
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and pastoral teams
  • Inspire students to achieve academically and socially
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching
  • Ability to adapt learning to meet individual student needs
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
