Secondary schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas are currently looking for Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to support on a flexible basis.

If you enjoy being in the classroom but want more control over your time, this is a great way to stay in education without the full-time workload.


Depending on your experience, you may:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons (teachers)
  • Supervise classes and manage behaviour (Cover Supervisors)
  • Keep pupils engaged and on task
  • Work across a range of schools and subjects

There is no planning required for day-to-day roles.


This works well for:

  • Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent)
  • Graduates or aspiring teachers
  • Individuals with experience working with young people
  • People confident leading a classroom
  • Those looking for flexible work

Access to a car can be helpful, but is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
