Secondary English Tutor – NG16 (Caley)

Location: NG16
Schedule: Monday to Friday – School Hours
Contract: Part-time / Ongoing
Setting: Secondary / SEN Support


✨ About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Secondary English Tutor to support students in the NG16 area. You will deliver engaging and tailored English sessions, helping learners build confidence and improve their literacy skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver English lessons for KS3–KS4 students
  • Plan and adapt sessions to suit individual learning needs
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, or gaps in education
  • Track progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment

✅ Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • SEN experience (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
