  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Maintain clear records of sessions and pupil progress.
  • Liaise with relevant professionals, parents/carers and the Quantum Scholars team where appropriate.

  • Experience working with pupils who may have additional learning needs or have struggled to access mainstream education is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A patient, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Why Join Quantum Scholars?

  • 1:1 teaching in a supportive home-based environment.
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's educational journey.
  • Ongoing support from the Quantum Scholars team.
  • Opportunity to gain further experience within EOTAS and alternative provision.

If you are an enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for a flexible and rewarding tuition opportunity in Wokingham, we'd love to hear from you.
