Science Technician - Long-Term Supply - South London

Are you a practical and organised Science Technician looking for a long-term opportunity in South London? A secondary school is seeking a reliable Science Technician to join their supportive science department on a long-term supply basis, playing an important role in ensuring lessons run smoothly.

The Role

As a Science Technician, you will work closely with teaching staff to prepare equipment and resources for practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will help maintain a safe, well-organised laboratory environment and ensure staff and students have everything they need for successful practical work.

This is a fantastic long-term supply opportunity for a science graduate with strong attention to detail and an interest in working within a busy secondary school environment. Science graduates with relevant laboratory experience are also encouraged to apply.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a laboratory, school or scientific environment
• A relevant Science qualification or degree is desirable
• Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and health and safety procedures
• Strong organisational and practical skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• A genuine interest in supporting students with practical science
• Located within or able to travel to South London
