Science Teacher – Secondary School in Weymouth

We are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join our secondary school in Weymouth from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is excited by the power of science to inspire young minds. You will join a dedicated department that is committed to delivering engaging lessons, developing students’ curiosity, and supporting every learner to achieve their best.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Create engaging learning experiences, including practical and investigative activities
Help students develop confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for scientific thinking
Monitor and support student progress through effective teaching and assessment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to continue improving outcomes for students
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has a strong passion for Science and education
Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
Is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
