Pay: £168 – £232 per day

We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes and develop a love for Science.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging curiosity, investigation and independent thinking
• Supporting curriculum planning and classroom delivery
• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to support all learners
• Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Differentiating lessons to meet varying learning needs
• Supporting wider departmental and school initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge across Science
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Positive, adaptable and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
