Contract: Full Time | Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £22,344 – £44,919

Science is about curiosity, discovery and understanding the world — and this secondary school is looking for a Science Teacher who brings those ideas to life in the classroom.

You’ll be teaching KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This role suits someone who enjoys explaining complex ideas clearly, encouraging questions, and helping students develop confidence in scientific thinking.

What your role will involve:

Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons

Teaching mixed ability groups across KS3–KS4

Encouraging curiosity, practical skills and critical thinking

Tracking progress and providing constructive feedback

Working collaboratively within a supportive department

This role would suit someone who:

Holds QTS (desirable but not essential)

Has experience teaching Science at secondary level

Is confident managing a classroom environment

Enjoys being part of a positive, forward thinking school
