Science Teacher

Our client secondary school, located in the heart of Wythenshawe, is committed to providing a high-quality education for all students. The dedicated team of teachers and support staff are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Science Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels. They will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. The ability to teach any or all of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics would be an advantage.

Our client school is located in close proximity to public transport links, making it easily accessible by bus or train. There is also an onsite car park for members of staff using a vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold a relevant degree in a science subject and a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of current curriculum requirements and assessment practices is essential.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, and have a commitment to ongoing professional development.
