Location: Skelmersdale

Hours: Full time, Term time only

We are currently seeking a creative and passionate Science teacher to join a strong and supportive staff team, in a lovely secondary school. As a science Teacher within this school, you will have support from the head of department and also the science team.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Delivering innovative and hands on Science lessons that encourage active learning.

-          Planning and implementing curriculum-aligned activities and experiments.

-          Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and to contribute to continuous improvement of the Science department.

-          Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to explore ideas and collaborate with their peers.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-          Strong subject knowledge.

-          Experience working within a Secondary School.

-          Strong behaviour management.

-          Excellent communication skills.

-          Proactive person.

-          Commitment to professional development.

-          Child Enhanced DBS (Can apply for this through the agency).
